Sally Walton OLY, GB Olympic Medalist
II have spent 18 years of my life playing elite level professional Hockey, training full time at the National Performance Centre at Bisham Abbey.
I have over 160 caps for GB and England and have played in 3 World Cups, 4 Champions Trophies, 4 Europeans, 1 Commonwealth Games and the London 2012 Olympic Games gaining a Bronze medal.
I have always had a keen interest in training and how the body reacts to training. I want to pass on my knowledge as a Personal trainer to others and really watch them gain body confidence, whatever their fitness goal. Everybody is unique, therefore I believe everyone needs a bespoke, individualised programme to suit their body. My aim is to use a fun range of challenging exercises to push the body out of its comfort zone to see results.
Home or online workouts take out the need for big gym fees, are more time effective for the modern busy person and also encourage more focused training, therefore seeing results in shorter amounts of time.
Client Turned Trainer Julie Snelling
Julie started a programme with PF23 in 2016 and has gone on to lose an incredible 4 1/2 stone on her mission to return to the shape she was in years earlier. After raising a family of three beautiful daughters Julie then decided it was time to focus on herself again.
Her journey was not only a physical one, but also one that saw her take on many new challenges across her life. She took her Personal Training qualification and now works as a Personal Training for Podium Fitness 23, specialising in weight loss and toning. Her knowledge of applied PT comes directly from a position of having gone through the journey herself. This is particularly important to our clients as Julie's understanding of not only the physical journey, but also the mental highs and lows of the programme really helps to motivate clients through their own battle.
She is an integral part of the team here at Podium Fitness 23 and loved by all clients.
